Our Cocoa Farming

Our cocoa plantation is located in the pristine rainforest surrounding Voinjama City, Lofa county, and our out-grower farmers are members of a cocoa farmer cooperative near the Gola Rainforest region.

All of our farmers are trained on the latest Good Agricultural Practices every year.

The farming practices are environmentally responsible, and promote smallholder agroforestry schemes, including the planting of shade trees and value-adding tree crops. No synthetic chemicals are used on our farms by any of our smallholder farmers.

Our farmers:

  1. Must abide by fair labor policies

  2. Receive transparently displayed, fair cocoa prices

  3. Are 55% female

  4. Are not children or enslaved. We strictly prohibit child and slave labor.
