Our Cocoa

We responsibly source Criollo, Trinitario, Amelonado and Upper Amazon cocoa varieties directly from our 500 out-grower farmers where it is then centrally fermented and dried. Our cocoa is:

  1. Farmed using organic Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) with agroforestry principles

  2. Centrally processed using step-box fermentation and solar drying

  3. Meticulously sorted and graded

  4. Exported from the freeport in Monrovia

  5. 100% traceable to the farmer level

Key Sensory Characteristics

  • Aroma: A bouquet of an aroma of dried fruit coupled with apricot and dates. Clean with very intense chocolate tones that are balanced with very mild fruit acidity. Very smooth and long-lasting deep chocolate finish.
